Often times, some set of people have had the perception that female entertainers cannot find true love because of the nature of their job which scares men away. But for actress, Mide Martins, it is about trust and understanding.

The actress disclosed to Vanguard that one of the things that has made her marriage stand the test of time has been their ability to trust and understand each other.

She stated that on several occasions, she has gotten on her husband's nerves but rather for him to wait and beat her or say harsh things to her, he walks away.

Mide noted that for about 12 years of her marriage now, her husband has never raised his hand on her no matter what dispute they might have.

In her words, she said, “I have been married for 12 years and my husband has never raised his hand against me for any reason. We have differences as couples and I believe that is normal. My husband is a very strong man who is so conscious of himself. What he does most times is to walk out when I get on his nerves.”
