Indian Man Leaves Fingers Uncut for Over 60 Years (Picture)
Report has it that an Indian man, Shridhar Chillal, hasn't cut his left fingernails in 60 years, which has earned him the world record holder in that regard.
He vowed never to have his finger nails cut when he was punished during his primary school days for breaking a teacher's fingernail so he decided to keep his nails in memory of the treatment he received that day.
His thumb nail seems to be the longest in the world at two meters and curls into a tight coil at the end. The middle finger is 186.6 cm, ring finger measures 181.6 cm, the little finger nail is 179.1 cm while the index nail stands at 164.5 cm.

According to Chillal," I barely move much, I wake up every half an hour to move my hand to the other side of the bed. At first my family members opposed it including my teachers but I decided from that point after my teacher punished me for breaking her fingernail, that I would never cut my nails again.
“No one assisted me in washing my cloth, I did that myself. Finding a job was also difficult as no one was ready to employ me. When I was to get married, no one was ready to marry me. I saw nearly 10 to 12 girls,"he said.
I finally got married to my brother's sister-in-law at age 29, that was when i cut off the one in my right hand," he said.
“I am currently 78 years old, and my nails have become much more delicate because of my age,I wish to preserve these nails in a museum," he added.
