After successfully re-launching himself into music early this year with release of his latest effort entitled 'Ninja Bike', maverick musician-cum social crusader, Charles Oputa aka Charly Boy is already working on a new project.

However, the new project may not see the musician mounting the stage for musical performances or leading several motorbike riders popularly known as okada riders in the struggle for various social causes.

According to the former president of Performing Musician's
Association of Nigeria (PMAN), the new project, which may involve him relocating to neighbouring Republic of Cameroun, will see him championing the cause to curb illegal migrants in Africa.

Area Father, as he is now fondly called, is concerned with the hardship young Africans from different countries go through in the search for greener pastures.
“I have heard different heart-rending tales of what young people go through,” he explained.
Although, he did not reveal much, he, however, said that preparation for the take off of the project has reached advance stage.
Charly Boy has had a long romance with social activism.
