BREAKING: Daily Independent Newspapers Office Shut
Reports reaching Nollywoodgists.com show that the Lagos office of Daily Independent newspapers has been put under lock and key.
Employees of the media house are protesting non-payment of their salary for months.
We were reliably informed that the management has failed to do something about the plight of the staff, who are very frustrated.
They have continued to languish in abject poverty because the company has failed to offset arrears of their salaries, which we learnt has gone over six months.
