Fans React: Why We Cannot Buy Nigerian Music CDs
Nowadays, Nigerians are fond of getting music of their choice from the internet rather than buying the music album. When asked the question; Would you buy Nigerian music album or download, here are the responses gotten?
Ayodeji Ben Chris; One has to be selective when buying a Nigerian Album. The last one I brought was like 17 years ago, but downloading is the main thing for now.
Tope Alausa; We are in a generation of Technology and it has made everything easy. Downloading is okay than buying a full album.
Raphael; Download! 95% download. Number one reason is that it is less expensive, I can download 10 songs with 10MB and I get 10MB at every recharge of 100 Naira. Then it can be documented properly there than buying the CD.
Vianney John; Download is better, than buying a full album. It is not going to be the full album one is going to listen to, probably the hit singles.
Jesse Osayande; Download of course. Why buy when you can have it easy for yourself? Besides, you can choose what you download unlike an album where you know that is mostly filled with crap.
Borg Michael; downloading all the way! Because it is easier, even if I buy the CD I will still rip it with my laptop to have it on my phone or to play it easily. If they can do their album on memory card, they will sell small.
Crystalmart; I love to download Nigerian music because most of their album consist of 12 tracks, just one track will be the most interesting out of 12 tracks and I can't waste my money on the album.
Yvonne Onaibe; I prefer to Download, I feel they won't be around for a long time.
Kayode Ogunleye; I prefer downloading since there are legal channels or links I can get them from without spending a dime.

Crux; Download better pass! It pays because not all the tracks are always sweet to listen to, more so, I prefer it on my phone so it would serve many purpose as mobile main.
Which will you prefer to do considering the fact that these singers will have to make money to survive?
