Veteran Nollywood actress turned inspirational speaker, Stella Damasus, has admitted the bible makes her sleep a lot.

The Delta State born diva who has had her fair share of controversy while narrating a recent experience she had with a guy squealed she usually dozes off reading the Holy Book.

According to her story, she met a guy who heard her talking about Jesus and some of the things she has discovered about life through the bible, but the young man said the bible is the most boring book in the world simply because whenever he needs to fall asleep, he grabs the bible to fight his insomnia.

In her response, Ms Damasus said she laughed so hard and said to him," you and I are on the same page because you have just proved that there is only one book on earth that gives you healing from your disorder just by reading it".

How many books can do that? This might sound negative to a lot of our extremely spiritual brothers and sisters. Truth is I would rather have someone pick up the bible and even try to read it, whether it makes them fall asleep or not is not. How many of us even bother to pick up our bibles, even if it's to fall asleep?" she asked rhetorically.
