Nollywood actor and producer, Bayo Alawiye is bereaved. The movie star lost his mother to the cold hands of death some days ago.

The filmmaker's mother, who was said to have slumped in the bathroom, was diagnosed of diabetes and hypertension, which she reportedly battled with till death.

Bayo, who confirmed his mother's death, stressed that rather than mourn the woman, he will celebrate her.

“I finally found the strength to do this. It is still very strange to me but I have to accept the reality that my mother is no more. Instead of just mourning because I must, I have decided to celebrate you.

"I am thankful to you for making me the man I am today. Amidst poverty, you struggled and sent me to school even after my father's demise 15 years ago. Yes I am pained because I have plans. Oh I had plans for you my mother but God knows best.

"I take solace in the fact that at least I made you proud before you left. I did my best to make you comfortable even though I think I have not done enough. You have done far more for me. All I can say is thank you mother. May you forever Rest in Peace. Sun re o.”
