My Brother Made Me Lived in a Bus When I Arrived Lagos… Lancelot Imasuen
Nollywood producer and director, Lancelot Imasuen, is a renowned name in the Nigerian movie industry but things were never rosy for him especially when attempting to relocate to Lagos.
Lancelot while recounting his journey into achieving his dreams in Nollywood, stated that he when he came to Lagos, his brother who was already based there had no accommodation.
He explained that when he arrived, his brother took him to his church and after the service, rather than take him home, he took him to his abandoned car and told him it was where he was living.
“I ended up in a bus,” he notes. “That was on 172, Old Ojo Road. My brother first took me into a church. We were there till night. After the service ended, I was expecting him to take me to his house. He took me to his bus whose engine had been knocked. He said, 'Na inside we go stay,' he told Punch.
