Not too long ago, the marriage of Ini Edo, a top actress in Nigeria, ended and this came as shock to most of her fans. The media feasted on the news and made different headline and stories from it.

Few months after, pictures of hers and a budding actor, Mike Godson, hit the internet and brought about another set of stories.

Even though they both denied dating each other, some grapevines have claimed that bed sheets were ruffled by the two actors behind closed doors.
However, Ini Edo recently explained what really transpired between her and Mike. She also narrated why her marriage crashed irretrievably.

According to her, 'I got married early because I wanted a family. I think my marriage was an experience which I don't regret. He was the last child, so his family members kinda interfered in the marriage, which is naturally normal.”

“He was okay with the kind of work I did and he kinda interfered as a good husband. We couldn't find common grounds and agree on certain things so we fell out. My husband and I were far apart from each other, maybe being together would have helped.

“My marriage fell out because of differences. For now, I just wanna fix my life, no marriage in the picture," she explained to Rubbin' Minds.

Ini Edo also said, "I have just a few friends in the industry, Jim Iyke, Alex Ekubo, Ebube Nwagbo, Rukky Sanda, Ebuka and the clique. I am friends with Genevieve Nnaji and we have a good relationship. We don't talk every day."

Finally, the actress said, “Mike (Godson) is a friend and we work together often. That's just all; just friends. One article came out and everyone just feasted on that article, nothing more. I love my job and I don't have a problem dating an actor. I can even date a banker."
