While many have shown so much respect for the Nollywood industry, not many see the industry as the best in terms of quality of movies produced especially Ghanaian actress, Ghanaian actress, Ella Mensah, who is in the country for a movie shoot.

She stated that the difference between Nollywood and the Ghanaian movies is that Nigerians are hard working but in Ghana there are few producers.

Ella emphasized that Ghanaian movies have more quality than most of Nigerian films because over there they shoot cinema movies which is their standard but in Nigeria, it is not the same.

“Obviously, Ghanaian movies have more quality than most of Nigerian films. The normal Ghanaian movies we shoot are what Nigerians call cinema movies but we in Ghana don't call them cinema movies, it's our standard way of shooting movies. Almost every movie shot in Ghana is a cinema movie whereas here, it is not,” she told Vanguard.
