Fast rising light-skinned singer, Olasunkanmi Rehanat Alonge, in a recent interview with Vangurad newspaper, has explained that picking music as a career has helped make her a better person and above all, more closer to God.

According to her, she was on the plus size but music has helped her to look more attractive which is also a selling point for her career.

She explained she was not beautiful the way she is now and for her to survive in the industry, she needs to be hot like Tiwa Savage, which is what guys want to see.

Olasunkanmi also noted that she was a carefree kind of girl but owing to music, she now mind things she dose and how she eats.

In her words, “Yes, I was not this beautiful, I was big. You know its showbiz. If you are not looking hot like Tiwa Savage, trust me no one will listen to your song. As a female artiste, you appeal more to the guys. If you are not looking good, they won't be interested in your music. They will tell you: “You try” and drop your CD. Once they know that you are attractive; they will be interested in listening to your music. I was just this carefree girl. Music has helped me to be careful with my eating habits.”
