Top actress in Ghana, Yvonne Nelson, has criticised President John Mahama, for not acknowledging the efforts of many entertainers in the country to put Ghana on the world map.

Yvonne made her outburst known after the President commended John Dumelo, a top actor in Ghana, for striving hard to positively promote Ghana to the world.

The actress said on Hitz FM that, "John Dumelo supports him publicly so I mean it is cool. I believe he has got his favourite, everyone has their favourite and if you are in the entertainment industry and you are putting Ghana on the map, the president should love you because you are doing something for Ghana.

"We are all putting Ghana on the map so I believe the President should love all of us because we are all trying for Ghana."
