When it comes to the business of disc jockey, one of the names that comes to mind in Nigeria is DJ Spinall. He has carved a niche for himself in his profession when most parents would not have allowed their children to think of a career in the industry.

But Sodamola Oluseye Desmond, his real name, disclosed that he never wanted to become a DJ because he was always 'fixing' things when he was growing up.

He told Kyslla that "I never wanted to be a DJ while growing up. What happened was that I am a fixer; I like to fix things that are not working right. Like when someone is sad, I want to fix that. When the road is bad, I want to fix that too.

"But along the line, music came in and took me off balance. I wanted to be an Engineer because I read Electrical Electronics Engineering. As a matter of fact, I am also studying for my Masters degree right now."
