Former Chocolate City boss, Audu Maikori is a respected entertainment executive in Nigeria. He took the label, fondly called Choc City to an enviable place and then stepped down for his vice, MI Abaga, a rapper, to take over the mantle of leadership from him.

Since leaving the position for the Jos-bred artiste, Audu has involved himself in other jobs.

Recently, he was in Kaduna State, where he hails from, to meet with his governor, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, but was shocked that his state of origin was questioned by security details of the governor.

"Many people don't know I am from Kaduna state so when I got to his (El-Rufai) office, some of his security people were asking where I was from originally! Do I really look that un-northern?” he asked.
