Film Producers Disturb Me Despite My ‘Condition’—Yoruba Actress
Olubunmi Imoleayo Adebayo is one of the pint-size personalities in the movie industry in Nigeria. She took up the profession that normally would not give her a chance to succeed, but today, she is not regretting joining the Yoruba movie industry.
The fast-rising actress stated that what worries her sometimes is the way people treat her because of her height.
Olubunmi told Newswatch that despite her height, movie producers pester with love advances.
“They do, it will surprise you how they made passes at me even in my condition. I have worked with the likes of Lanre Omiyinka aka Baba Ijesha, Peter Fatomilola, Muyiwa Ademola and many others. I have met Bukky Wright, Chief (Mrs) Oyewumi Esusu and some important artistes, but most of the male artistes want to go all the way with me, they always want to take advantage of me,” she said.
When asked how she would feel if she gives birth to a pint-size, she said, “Noting, but I hope not because I don't want my child to face the humiliation I am facing now. The segregation is well pronounced.”
