Gospel Artistes Don’t Charge Churches but collect Honorarium and Mobility Fee… Esther Igbekele
With the various debates coming from some quarters that gospel artistes should not demand for money from churches after performing, some will be left laughing and wondering why they should not eat from the temple of God besides there is the saying that, 'He that works in the temple of God eats from the temple.'
Gospel singer, Esther Igbekele, airing her opinion on this issue stated that the word 'charging' is not the real term for it but 'mobility fee.'
She explained that she does not ask for charges fee but simply tell the person inviting her to prepare her honorarium and my mobility fee.
According to her, “Anybody that calls me for any programme I tell them my honorarium and my mobility fee.”
