Controversial singer, Timaya has joined the league of entertainers dissing award organisers. He claimed some of them have been politicised.

The Bayelsa State-born artiste, who recently welcomed a baby boy, was in Atlanta, United States of America, where he was scheduled to perform over the weekend alongside Akon and other notable singers.

Timaya made jest of the 2015 MAMA awards, which was held over the weekend in Durban, South Africa.

He posted a picture of himself and wrote, “Calling Africa. What's going on at the MAMA's award, how's the politics over there?”
