Man Missing After Football Game In Lagos

By orijoreporter

The kinsmen of Kamilu Salaudeen are growing increasingly concerned for the young man's welfare after he never returned home over two months since he left his guardian's home at Mile 12 in Kosofe Local Government Area of Lagos State.

The 21-year-old(pictured) who lived with his relative until his sudden disappearance is a trained tiller.

But on April 21, 2015, Kamilu whose parents live in Osogbo, the Osun State capital where the family hails from had involved in a football practice session in Kosofe neighbourhood before heading to Mowe, an Ogun State outskirt to pay visit to his friends.

“He left the field after we finished playing football and said he was going to Mowe to see his friends,” one of his playmates told our correspondent on condition of anonymity.
Neither Kamilu's relatives nor his friends in Mile 12 know of any of his friends in Mowe, if there is any.

His distraught family and friends have appealed for information on his whereabouts.

“He had left his phone behind, so we could not reach him.

“We have gone to many of the police stations in Ogun State. In fact, the Divisional Police Officer of one of the stations, opened his cell to us, but he was not there,” one of them said.
