Waje Cancels East African Tour Over Grandma’s Death

Female Nigerian singer, Waje, has been forced to cancel her music tour due to death of her grandmother few days ago.

The singer had already made plans for her East African tour when the sad news got to her and she has now shelved the tour to mourn the aged woman.

The tour was scheduled from July 2nd to July 6th, 2015 but a later date would be made known soon, she said.

“My Tanzanian and Ugandan family, it breaks my heart to announce to you all that we will have to cancel the rest of the tour (sad face). My deepest apologies to you because this was all put in place because of you guys, but this isn't over. We will do this.

“Waje EA Tour as my grandma just passed away while my tour kicked off, I'm forced to cancel to be there for my mum.

“I am very sorry to cancel the Tanzanian and Ugandan shows. I hope you darlings bear with me and keep the love alive. I promise to schedule a better time to come be with you in Tanzania and Uganda. Stay blessed. Asante sana,” she wrote.
