Why I Christened My Son ‘Ace’

Nollywood actor and model, IK Ogbonna, welcomed his baby boy into the world some days ago, which brought joy to his family and fans as well.

The actor christened his son Ace, which some of his fans could not comprehend why he chose such name for his boy.

But IK Ogbonna has explained why he christened his son Ace.

According to his explanation, the word Ace also means expert, master genius virtuoso, maestro, professional, adept, master, doyen, champion, star, winner and many others.

He wrote on his Instagram page, “I got a few emails asking me why I chose Ace for my son's name. While going through names, I saw a name with all these and I said to myself instantly, 'his name is Ace, a person who excels at a particular sport or other activity.

“All I can try to be is a good guide to him and I am sure that won't be a problem with God by my side and the best mother in the world for my kids, Sonia.”
