NDLEA After Davido Over Music Video
Nigerian artistes are sometimes known to be reckless with their music videos. Sometimes ago, Olamide shot a video for his song, 'Story For The gods', which some people were not happy about because it showed ladies intending to caress each other.
Popular Nigerian artiste, Davido, did a song with US-based artiste, Meek Mill entitled 'Fans Mi' and he recently released the video.
But this seems to have landed him in trouble because of a scene the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) is not happy about.
In the visuals, a scene showed where a briefcase full of cash and a bag full parcel of hard drugs were put on display.
Speaking on the video, NDLEA's Head of Public Affairs, Michael Ofoyeju, said the agency considers the video inappropriate and indecent.
“The agency considers the musical video 'Fans Mi' inappropriate and indecent. It has the tendency to negatively influence and induce drug use and trafficking. Besides, it is counter-productive on the campaign against drug production, trafficking and abuse. The agency is investigating the matter and will take necessary action,” Ofoyeju said.
