I Want To Invest In ‘Ugwu’ Vegetable—Celebrated Airport Cleaner

The news of an airport cleaner, Josephine Agwu, who returned about N12 million she found while doing her job at the Lagos airport, received wide media attention sometimes ago because what she did was regarded uncommon.

What touched many people was that she was just a worker receiving about N8,000 when her path and the huge amount of money crossed.

Not too long ago, the Monday Ubani Foundation gave the woman the sum of N680,000 as a reward for being faithful and a true Nigerian.

She told Encomium Magazine at the presentation of the money to her that she would like to invest in transporting pumpkin leaves, commonly called 'ugwu' in Nigeria, to different parts of the country, where the vegetable is needed.

Josephine also stated that she would love to get a better job from the government.

"I'm thinking of investing the money in the sales and distribution of 'ugwu' leaves since my surname is Agwu," she said.
