While counting down to her birthday, Nollywood actress, Halima Abubakar, having taken a look into her past, has concluded that she has never been perfect.

The actress disclosed that she learnt a lot of lessons while climbing up to fame, which have made her a better person.

Halima said, “Every day is a blessing. I used to sit and wonder how everything turned the way it did. Then I remembered I got a wonderful God in me. I am grateful for all the lessons, all the mistakes, for they all made me strong and focused.

“I know one day, I will meet some loyal souls who will become my family. I don't make friends! I make families for eternity and if I cut off from you, then it is indeed for the best. Love who love you and keep the rest behind. I am a happy child who is misunderstood. I am a work in progress, loyalist, peacemaker, diligent, focused and blessed,”
