Mavin Records' D Prince: Nigerian Music Will Get Better If....
Mavin Records artiste, D Prince, is the younger brother of the music producer, Don Jazzy, and is credited for the smash hits 'O.Y.O' and 'Take Banana' which continues to appear on play lists till date.
Speaking with Vanguard, the artiste whose career has somewhat become recluse opened up on how big the Nigerian music industry is at the moment. He said that every artiste could possibly not be noticed because not every one is working together.
He said, "The industry is bigger than any artiste. It has been on the rise for the past five years. I still feel that the artistes are working hard enough to write their names in gold.
"If other stakeholders including the promoters, media, event organizers will get better,I believe we will be on the same page."
D Prince is signed on to Mavin Records which is home to stars like Dr Sid, Tiwa Savage, Korede Bello, Reekado Banks and petite Di'Ja.
