Winifred Isimakhome Oshiomhole is one of the children of the new governor-bridegroom of Edo State, Adams Oshiomhole and she has defended the choice of wife her father has chosen.

Nigerian had expressed their shock that the comarde governor had chosen a foreigner to be his new wife after the death of his former wife whom he had lost to cancer some years back.

According to an online medium, Isimakhomle revealed that he father had decided to move on after mourning her mother for as long as he did and Nigerians should be happy for him.

She said, 'I think my father has finally gotten the heart to move on and Nigerians should learn to respect his decision. I saw so many bad comments and my question is, this people don't even know half of the story and they just go about writing ignorantly."

The Edo state governor had confirmed his new marital status when he walked down the aisle with his Cape Verde bride, Lara Fortez on Friday, 15th, 2015 in the audience of selected high profile audience in the society in Edo State.
