Nollywood actor, Odunlade Adekola, has revealed that he had to ignore social media for about four years because he needed space.

He stated that though he has a large fan base and people would want to relate with him including his school mates but pointed out that sometimes the discussion on social media could be unprofessional at times and as such, he needed to stay off.

According to him, “The discussions on Facebook and other social media could be unprofessional sometimes. That is why I have not been on any social media for over four years. There are other personal reasons I don't want to disclose but soon, I would join Facebook, twitter and instagram and people would know my name on them so that they would stop falling prey to these con artistes.”

He further disclosed that so scammers went as far as using his name to defraud some of his fans by staging a fake promo and when they get a victim, they demand for money with his while he is left in the dark not knowing what was going on.
