Nigerians were greeted with reports yesterday morning that celebrated music producer, Babatunde Okungbowa, better known as OJB Jezreel was back in the hospital over a deteriorating health.

It was specifically reported that his kidney, which was changed not too long ago in India, was damaged again and that he was admitted at a General Hospital in Lagos.

But reacting to the reports, which went viral, OJB claimed he is hale and hearty and faulted those peddling the rumour for not carrying out research before publishing the report.

OJB Jezreel sent out a message stating that, “I'd like to set the record straight, I am at home and healthy with my family going about my normal business.

“Obviously, bloggers don't research before they post. If they did, they would know that a transplant patient will always do routine checkups because of infections etc. Wasn't on a hospital bed or in one! Research proper if it's gossip worthy or not.”
