One of the artistes signed under Don Jazzy's Mavin Records, Reekado Banks, is among the 10600 students partaking in the 2015 convocation ceremony of the University of Lagos (UNILAG).

The singer studied History and Strategic Studies at UNILAG.

Nollywoodgists.com learnt that out of the 10600 graduating students, 5836 successfully completed their undergraduate programmes in the school.

Reekado Banks is among the 518 students graduating from the Faculty of Arts.

Activities marking the 2015 convocation ceremony for 2013/2014 graduands kicked off on Monday with a lecture and it will end on Thursday with the award of degrees to the students, including the popular artiste.

The event is expected to take place at the Multipurpose Hall of the school.

Nollywoodgists.com further learnt that Akinpelumi Korede of the Department of Chemical Engineering is the best graduating student with a CGPA of 4.96, while the second is Shittu Wasiu Sesan of Department of Finance with a CGPA of 4.91 and the duo of Ogagaoghene Samuel Envwu of the Department of Finance with a CGPA of 4.90 and Miss Adeogun Margaret Adedayo of Department of Microbiology with a CGPA of 4.90 are the third best graduating students.
