Ace comedian, Bright Okpocha, popularly known as Basketmouth has revealed the effect his wife had on him the first time he set his eyes on her at the popular grounds of a Nigerian university in Lagos.

Sharing the experience in a chat with City People magazine, he said he was promoting his show in the early 2000s at the University of Lagos when she hailed him. That was the period of his career that he was just an upcoming act.Click:Murder: Cultists Kill Pregnant Woman In Delta

He said, "She walked past and she was like hey Basketmouth, then my fame had just started growing. And she hailed me and walked past.

The comedian revealed that he was struck by her beauty that he went after her immediately which was the first time in his life that he would go after a lady.

"Then I turned and saw her, she was beautiful, and she is still beautiful. For the first time in my life, I walked after a woman. I asked her for her name and number," he added.
