My Fear For Nigeria During 2015 Elections--Funke Akindele
Funke Akindele became the toast of many Nigerians when she produced and acted in the award-winning film, 'Jenifa'. The movie turned her into an overnight superstar and since then, she has remained a big force in the movie industry.
It was after then that some producers in the core Nollywood started wooing her to join their sets and as some people will say now, that made her to be scarce in the Yoruba film industry, which made her famous. Click:Community reports fresh oil spillage in Bayelsa 's Kolo Creek
Few years later, she started getting many endorsement deals and today, she boasts of big brands she acts as their ambassadors.
In a recent chat with Hip TV, the actress said during the just-concluded general elections in Nigeria, she feared for the unknown for the country.
But the elections turned out to be successful with few recorded cases of violence.
“The change is alive, no violence, I was actually scared but I thank God everything went on smooth. There is peace, love in Nigeria and the fact that people actually want a change,” Funke Akindele disclosed.
