What Celebs Wore To Polling Units
Over the weekend, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) finally conducted the presidential and National Assembly elections across the country. Many Nigerians stormed the various polling booths to exercise their civic responsibility.
At the polls, some notable faces in the showbiz industry in Nigeria as they were not left out in casting their votes for candidates of their choice.
While some celebrities dressed up well for those elections, others went casual to the polling units to cast their votes.
Below are pictures of celebrities at the voting centres, mostly in Lagos and what they wore to the polling booths.
Mo Cheddah
Modupe-Oreoluwa Oyeyemi Ola is the real name of this slim artiste called Mo'Cheddah, who is blessed with a powerful vocal. She appeared at her polling unit in a simple floral two piece bikini-inspired top and trousers. Looking simply chic with a red-rimmed glasses, Mo'Cheddah appeared calm in her polling unit.
Banky W and The Demurens
Bankole Wellington, fondly called Banky W and the Demuren brothers were at the polling units also dressed down. Looking like your classic dudes, Banky W was dressed in wine-coloured native attire and publicly displayed his PVC for the camera. The Demurens were dressed in English wears looking as dapper also. Every one of them was on glasses, a signature of celebs in Nigeria.
Princess
Princess is the name of the female comedian whose real name is Damilola Adekoya. She was dressed in a flowing purple coloured gown and her braids were packed in an upward sweep.
Pasuma
Alhaji Wasiu Alabi Pasuma was dressed in a round-necked T-shirt and he looked every bit the young dude he is. His clear sunshade was a plus to his fashion item.
Mercy Aigbe
Dressed in a grey T-shirt and black skinny jeans, Mercy Aigbe, an actress in Nigeria, was just as homely as your girl-next-door.
Koffi
The fearless comedian was dressed in a sort of varying loud colours outfit. He was at the same polling unit with Mo'Cheddah. His real name is Koffi Idowu-Nuel and he completed his outfit with a blue colour cap, yellow collared T-shirt and grey-wool joggers. A real comedian you say? That is who Koffi is.
Kunle Afolayan
The multi-award winning filmmaker and actor was the most homely dressed of the lot. In his black colour polo T-shirt and red shorts, Kunle Afolayan, appeared classic and very dapper. He was also at home with the crowd who were also actively involved in electoral process.
Gbenga Adeyinka 1st
This comedian went to his polling unit looking casual. He stayed on the queue with other voters dressed in a blue-black top and a rope-dropping grey trouser.
Owen Gee
Owen Osamwengie, who goes by the stage name, Owen Gee, bald and dark skinned comedian, was dressed in a customised singlet and blue jeans trouser with charming smile to complete his outfit. He also graciously displayed his PVC for the camera.
