Failure Is My Motivation For Success—Patoranking

Patoranking was one of the revelations of the Nigerian music industry in year 2014, especially after he released the hit single, 'Alubarika', which featured Timaya. Thereafter, he dropped 'Girlie O', which was later remixed and had Tiwa Savage on it.

Sharing his success tips on MTV Base, the singer revealed that one of his greatest fear is failure, he says has made him to want to be more successful in his music career.

He said, "My greatest fear is failure. No man wants to fail . So I am scared of failure and so I will not fail."

The artiste also revealed that if not for music, he would have probably been a footballer because of his love for Arsenal legend, Thierry Henry.

He said, "If I was not doing music, I would be a footballer because I like Thierry Henry."

Answering the question on what inspired his popular slang, 'Wha ya say,' he said he needed a slang that everyone would be familiar with. He said, "I needed a slogan people would associate with. So that was how 'Wha ya say' came up."

Patoranking said he hopes to drop an album in 2015 and will want to feature international acts, Beenie Man and Sean Paul, on it.
