Last Sunday, Mothers' Day was celebrated in some parts of the globe, including in Nigeria. That day was used by many people to celebrate their mothers and celebrities were not left out of it.

What caught the attention of Nollywoodgists.com was the story shared by a popular Yoruba actor, Muyiwa Ademola, fondly called Muyiwa Authentic by his teeming fans, about his mother.

The actor shared a picture of himself and his mother and explained that his mother stood by him about 35 years ago when he had an infection in his leg, which was almost being amputated at that time.

According to him, “Maami Like 35yrs ago, I had a terrible infection on one of my legs…she took me to one specialist hospital around Jebba, Niger state… A surgery was carried out on me. My mum fainted thrice b4 the completion of a 2hr surgery because it was so unbearable for her to see me in so much pain… she would transport me on her back from our abode then to the hospital till the leg healed. Love you always.”
