Nollywoodgists.com has reliably learnt that some top Nollywood figures are currently in the Gambia.

It was disclosed to us by an industry source that the Nigerian movie stars are in the smallest country on mainland Africa on the invitation of the Gambian President, Yahya Jammeh, ahead of the country's Independence Day celebration on Wednesday, February 18, 2015.

The stars presently in the Gambia are Chinedu Ikedieze known as Aki, Segun Arinze, Patience Ozokwor fondly called Mama G, Monalisa Chinda, Chief Chika Okpala known as Zebrudaya, Francis Duru and Kanayo O Kanayo.

The Gambia is celebrating her 50th independence anniversary.
