Social media has exploded with the recently released documentary about the All Progresssive Congress' Presidential candidate, Muhammadu Buhari.

The documentary, which aired on Africa Independent Television titled “The Real Buhari”, presents Buhari as a man whose military regime become first to sentence a woman to death by firing squad. One Nairaland forum user, SeverusSnape, wrote that the documentary is “about all the wickedness and atrocities committed by Buhari during his reign of terror”.

General Muhammadu Buhari is also characterized as stiff and never smiling.

In his book “Then Spoke The Thunder”, writer and journalist Peter Enahoro calls Buhari ascetic, while a Nobel laureate, Prof. Wole Soyinka, describes him as an ethnic bigot.
