The industrial action embarked upon by some members of the judiciary under the aegis of Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN) has stalled the hearing of a case instituted in court by a businessman against a popular singer in Nigeria, Dapo Oyebanjo, better known as D'Banj.

The matter was initially slated to be heard at the Multi-door Courthouse in Obalende, Lagos, on Monday, January 26, 2015, but the strike by the judicial workers could not allow the court hear the case as earlier planned.

Though federal judicial workers have called off their strike action, but their state counterparts are still at home, pending the outcome of a meeting.

Due to the strike action, the matter has now been adjourned indefinitely and a later date would be announced by the court for hearing of the case.

The owner of Mindhub Technologies accused D'Banj, owner of DB Records, of owing him an amount of money running into millions of Naira. The suit number of the case is LD/ADR/445/14.

There have been speculations that the famous singer may presently be experiencing a financial crisis.
