Governor Al-Mukura’s Campaign DG’s Daughter Beheaded By Gunmen
Some unidentified gunmen have beheaded Mrs. Amina Suleiman, the daughter of the Director General of Governor of Nasarawa State, Umaru Tanko Al–Makura's Campaign Organisation, Mr. Musa Illu.
It was gathered that the deceased, who was seven months pregnant, was assassinated on Monday at her home in Katsina State.
The horrible incident happened when her husband, Mr. Mohammed Suleiman, was on his way to Zaria.
Recounting how it all happened, Illu's younger brother, Namairo Babai, who is based in Lafia, the Nasarawa State capital, said late Amina was found in a pool of blood. He further explained that the victim's head was separated from her body, while a knife protruded from her stomach.
“Her husband was on his way to the ABU Zaria when the incident happened. After the weekend, when he tried calling, but couldn't get her, he sent someone to check. The person that that went to the couple's apartment later called back and told him that his wife had been slaughtered.
“Late Amina was killed in her home in faraway Katsina State. Her husband was on his way to Zaria for his doctorate degree programme.”
Babai added that Amina, who got married two years ago, had been buried on Tuesday in her husband's home town in Katsina State.
At the deceased family house along Shendam road, Lafia, Nasarawa, State, sympathisers and family members were seen consoling the father, who was weeping uncontrollably.
Among those sighted was the wife of the governor, Mrs. Salamatu Al-Makura.
