Alibaba Reacts To Gov Fayose's Death Advert
More reactions have continued to trail a controversial advert sponsored by the governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose on Monday.
Fayose had placed an advert on a national daily newspaper indicating that the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Muhammadu Buhari, may die in office if elected as President in the February 2015 poll.
The advert showed that past Nigerian leaders from the North-West have died in office and advised that Nigerians should not make the mistake of wanting to have another state burial.
But one celebrity in Nigeria that is not happy with the advert is veteran comedian, Atunyota Alleluyah Akporobomerere, better known as Alibaba. The comedian noted that he sees no message or sense in the piece.
"The sad part is they will do things that will put GEJ in bad light, and begin to call people who raise issues based on the nonsense they have done as people who are not loyal. Okay, what is the importance of that advert?
“Front page cover advert goes for about 20 million naira and you can see to what extent some will go to mess up the chances of GEJ's incumbency. These are the same people who will advise Mr President 'abi?” Alibaba posted on his Instagram page.
