HALIMA ABUBAKAR EXPOSE DESTRUCTION-SYNDROME, 'FAKES' AND NON-CHARLATANS RULE NOLLYWOOD

Born in Kano, Halima Abubakar is a Nollywood actress who never fails to speak her mind concerning the state of leadership and progress in Nollywood.

Joining the clique of 2015 Brand Face, the United Nations (UN) peace ambassador signed an endorsement deal with Tutti Water as the brand face shared her excitement in a recent chat.

She said achieving the endorsement was a feat that made feel awesome and grateful however she declined to reveal the year-long monetary worth when asked.

When questioned about her thoughts on the present state of Nollywood, she replied, "Nollywood is growing and soon will be properly positioned... I will change the bad culture of quacks, and the cliques and pull down syndrome we have. I will carry everyone along and not listen to side talk tales and eradicate tribalism."

Halima had featured in 16 movies through the year 2014, which includes Chocolate Pinging Saloon, The Wannabe, Monica among others which she said were success in the market.
