I Can Only Do A Collabo With My Brother For Money—Seun Kuti
Recently, Afro-beat musician, Femi Kuti was proud of his son, Made, when they both performed at the Africa Shrine. The performance excited Femi and it could be seen that it was indeed a memorable one for both the Kutis and fans present at the event that day.
But lovers of Afro-beat music have not seen Femi and his younger brother, Seun Kuti, perform together.
In an interview with Punch newspaper, Seun disclosed that a collaboration with his elder brother can only happen when they are broke.
Seun stated that doing such will not be for good music but for money making.
According to him, "Collaborations like that are money spinners. If we would collaborate, it is not because we want to do something great for music because we are already making great music individually. But if we do it, it would mainly be for financial reason. We agreed that as soon as we feel our career is slowing down and money is not coming as it should, we would jump into the studio and do a money spinner."
