Scammers Alert: Funke Akindele Warns Fans
Actress cum movie producer, Funke Akindele AKA Jenifa has disassociated herself from scammers using her different fake social media account to rob her fans of their hard-earned money.
The comic actress was forced to publicly state her real social media accounts when the fraudsters increased their evil plans of robbing innocent people this festive period.
Funke took to her Instagram page to warn her unsuspecting fans of the impending dangers of dealing with any of the fake accounts
She held a placard which clearly indicated her real accounts with a caption which reads; " Hi! I've gotten a lot of reports about people impersonating me online. Please note: I'm not giving out gifts. These are my authentic social media pages. Any other account aside these ones is FAKE!
I've not asked anyone to run any account on my behalf online. Please beware of SCAMMERS! Thanks and do enjoy your holiday. "
In the comment box, a fan actually narrated how her sister was contacted and convinced that she had won a plasma TV from Funke Akindele, but needs to send N6,000 to a particular account to claim it.
Other stars like, Ramsey Nouah, Stella Damascus have also been faced with the scammers target on social media.
