Gov. Fayose Motivates Police With Chickens, Rice
The Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Peter Fayose, has continued with his 'stomach infrastructure programme' with the distribution of no fewer than 80,000 chickens, 100,000 bags of rice and cash gift to some residents of the state, including the less privileged, widows and the aged.
Fayose also extended his gifts to officers of the Nigeria Police in Ekiti State. He gave them some chickens and bags of rice to use to celebrate Christmas.
At the Ekiti State Police Command on Iyin road in Ado Ekiti, the state capital, the governor was welcomed by a Guard of Honour, which he inspected.
Speaking with journalists, Fayose said his priority is the welfare of the people of Ekiti who, “against all odds”, returned him to office after eight years in a landslide victory.
