Few weeks after announcing this sudden interest in politics and stirring controversy with the tinted hair on his Campaign poster, Tony Tetuila, laid low. Nothing much was heard or read about him.

Tony intended running for Kwara State's House of Assembly under APC party.

However in a recent interview, the music artiste of 'You don hit my car' fame admitted he believes he wasn't the right man for the job, and still has to learn, and so he stepped down for the right candidate when the primary election was very near. According to him, the party will also be compensating him for stepping down, and he will be using all his mite and power to help the winning candidate.
