An aide to President Goodluck Jonnathan on Public Affairs, Doyin Okupe, has likened his employer to Jesus Christ, a highly reverend and powerful spiritual being.

According to Okupe, the President bears the burden of the nation as Jesus Christ shoulders the burden of Christians.

Okupe made the comments earlier today, Monday, December 15, while commenting on the state of the nation on Channels TV programme, Sunrise Daily.

In his words, he said, “People do not understand the burden this president is bearing. He's like Jesus Christ. He's bearing the burden of everybody.”

Furthermore, Okupe claimed that the efforts of the government in fighting the Boko Haram insurgency and addressing the problems in the power sector were being hindered by external factors. He also added that it was impossible for Jonathan to lose the elections in 2015.© 2014Nollywoodgists.com
