Gen. Muhammadu Buhari Wins APC Presidential Primaries

The All Progressive Congress (APC) political party primaries will actually be in the records that it was the longest presidential primaries in the history of Nigeria which lasted for about 2 days.

The primaries which saw five candidates contesting for the most powerful position of governance in any country, paraded the likes of former Military Head of State, General Muhammadu Buhari, former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, Governor Rochas Okorocha , Kano state Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso and Leadership Newspaper boss, Sam Nda-Isaiah.

Interestingly, the most fascinating aspect of the primaries as many have attested to is one of the most transparent primaries to be conducted in Nigeria.

As the counting finally ends, the APC have finally gotten a flag bearer which is General Muhammadu Buhari who crosses the 1,000 mark with a total vote of 3,430,while he got a close chase from Kano state Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso who scored votes.

Meanwhile, former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, scored the total vote of 954 out of 8000, while Governor Rochas Okorocha came close with a total vote of and Media boss, Sam Nda-Isaiah, scored a total vote of .
