Christmas season is associated with the show of love and renowned comedian, Atunyota Alleluya Akporobomerere, popularly known as Ali Baba is already in mood.

The acclaimed godfather of the Nigerian comedy industry, on Monday, December 1, 2014, at the birthday bash held in honour of Destiny Amaka at Lily Gate hotel in Lekki, gave out his 'expensive' wristwatch to popular Nigerian actor, IK Ogbonna.

In what started like a joke, the controversial star actor had complimented Alibaba on the classy watch he was wearing and also playfully said he wished he could have it.

To the bewilderment of those present at the event, Alibaba removed the watch from his wrist and handed it over to IK, who could not hide his joy.

With shock reportedly written all over his face, IK screamed and was short of words because to him, what started as a joke has earned him a very experience wristwatch to kick off the Christmas season with.

He reportedly kept saying 'Thank you sir... I'll make sure I tweet this.. thank you.'

Alibaba is not only regarded as the king of comedy, he is rated as one of the richest comedians in Africa. He is believed to be 'heavily loaded' and he has performed for government bigwigs. He is also a lover of luxurious automobiles. The comedian reportedly has over 10 customised exotic cars aside owning choice properties in Abuja, Lagos, Delta and Port-Harcourt.

His interests also span across investment in the banking sector, event management, fashion, hospitality, import and export business.

IK Ogbonna is a handsome actor, who was once rumoured to have dated Ghanaian actress, Juliet Ibrahim. Some even speculated that he may have contributed to the crashed marriage of the actress.© 2014Nollywoodgists.com
