I Don’t Produce Songs for Foreign Consumption……Music Producer, TY Mix
Ace music producer, TY Mix, has revealed that his style of music production is not about street music but a music that can be well understood and accepted by the Nigerian market.
As a frontline music producer, Tee-Y Mix has seen the potential of the untapped, unreleased huge pull of talent that exist within the Nigerian youth and wants to help create more music super stars.
TY Mix who is the CEO of 'vivacerecords' record label, is also the producer of rave of the moment female singer, Immaculate whose song, 'Gogo Baby' has been gaining massive airplay.
In a cable TV programme monitored by Nollywoodgists.com, the producer stated that musicians and producers should try to do good songs that can be well accepted and fit in the Nigerian market and not the perception of doing music for the international audience which he says should be a secondary issue.
According to him, “I am not producing street music but music that can be consumed by the Nigerian fans and not foreign people because it is necessary to conquer your home front first before thinking of foreign country.”
