The online media recently went agog when award-winning Nollywood actor, OC Ukeje attended the Shuga 4th edition at the Villa Medici Restaurant, VI, Lagos, without wearing his wedding ring.

Many wondered why the 'cool headed' actor, who has only been married for few weeks, would step out without the perceived symbol of his undying love for his wife.

It was even speculated that he had started having marital problems.

Well, the actor has explained that he hasn't been wearing the band because it is not with him.

“My ring will be back next month, I had issues with it… I am working on having it resized, once I get it back, you'll start seeing it on my finger,” he revealed.

OC Ukeji got married to his Canada-based lover, Ibukun Togonu, on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at the Hoares Memorial Methodist Cathedral in Yaba, Lagos.© 2014Nollywoodgists.com
