It was a gathering of who-is-who in the Yoruba film industry on Sunday, November 2, 2014, when one of the stars in the field celebrated her 55th birthday in grand style.

Several stars in the Yoruba movie industry stormed 10 Degree in Oregun, Lagos, venue of the colourful and glamorous event, to celebrate with Lola Afolayan, well known as Lola Idije.

Jide Kosoko and Adebayo Salami, better known as Oga Bello were few of the bigwigs in the industry that honour the movie star. Fuki king, Saheed Osupa, was on bandstand to thrill the guests. There were also enough foods and drinks to go round.

It was evident that the celebrant enjoyed her day with the number of people that came out to rejoice with her.
