He is the current Special Adviser to Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra State on Nollywood and Entertainment, Bob Manuel Udokwu is also an actor who has taken to politics with the same vigour he has taken to acting career.

The Anambra State born veteran actor recently disclosed that going into politics won't stop entertainers from being performers.

In his words, ”Do you know how many engineers that are in politics? Do you know how many doctors that are in politics? I think it's only sentimental that people say that entertainers are not supposed to be in politics. We are not even up to ten. It shows a shift in the mindset of the people and we as people in entertainment.

There was a time we were not given any chance in this country .Today, even the Federal government recognizes the importance of entertainment .

The rebasing of the Nigerian economy was just based on two factors- Oil and gas and Nollywood. Let me allay the fears of the public right now , going into politics won't stop us from being performers” he quipped.
